How to Manage your Account Settings in Exness

Please note that it is not possible to change the following:

  • Account Type: This cannot be changed once registered, but you can open a new account and choose a different account type for it.
  • Account Currency: You can open a new account and set that to a different account currency if you require a change.
  • Account Email: You will need to register an entirely new Personal Area to set a different account email.

Now, log in to your Personal Area and we can get started.

Leverage

  1. Choose My Accounts in your Personal Area.
  2. Clicking on the account you want to change will expand its settings.
  3. Select Leverage by clicking on the current setting for a pop-up to appear.
  4. Choose your leverage from the dropdown menu and click Set leverage to confirm.
Please note that if you choose a leverage setting that cannot be applied to your account type, it will revert to the last leverage setting that was allowed, or to a default 1:200 in some cases.

Nickname

If you would like to give your account a nickname, useful for sorting through multiple accounts in a single Personal Area, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose My Accounts in your Personal Area.
  2. Clicking on the account you want to change will expand its settings.
  3. Select Add next to Nickname and a pop-up window will appear.
  4. Name your account and click Rename Account to confirm.

Read-Only Access

Setting a Read-Only Password will allow you to share account access with a 3rd party without the ability to trade.

  1. Choose My Accounts in your Personal Area.
  2. Clicking on the account you want to change will expand its settings.
  3. Select Set next to Read-only access and a pop-up window will appear.
  4. Create a password and click Set Read-Only Password to confirm.

Trading Password

Your Trading Password is the one used to login to a trading terminal for that specific account, and it can be changed by following these steps:

  1. Choose My Accounts in your Personal Area.
  2. Clicking on the account you want to change will expand its settings.
  3. Select Change next to Trading password and a pop-up window will appear.
  4. Create a password and click Change Password to confirm.

Great, now you’re all set and can manage your account settings more effectively.
